Securly Support

MSAD75 is transitioning to a new content filter system, Securly. This system will give us the flexibility of more specialized filtering of users and groups. Since there will be some technical changes to ensure the filtering works properly, we've created this support site to help users with the transition.

I have a personal computer that I need to use on the district network. How can I use it with Securly?
MSAD#75 School Board Policy states that all personally owned devices must be inspected by the technology department before they can be used on the district network. (Click here for more information.) Users will then be given instructions on how to manually install Securly certificates on their personal devices.

I want to use Firefox with my MLTI Macbook. Will Firefox work with Securly?

Firefox can be used with Securly, but it requires a separate certificate install. We've created an install package that's available in Self Service.
(Please note: This Firefox package installs a new version of Firefox, which deletes all user bookmarks and preferences. Please back up your bookmarks before installing this package!)
