File JECB: Admission of Non-resident Students


1. An initial application for admittance is to be made in writing to the Superintendent of Schools.

2. An interview with parent or guardian and prospective student will be held with the Superintendent, principal and guidance.

3. A recommendation is to be made to the Board by the Superintendent based on information gathered in Steps 1 and 2  (The Board may accept or reject the nomination.)

4. The tuition rate will be set by the Board and will not exceed limits set by the State.  Tuition payments to be made by municipalities or school districts will be made once each year at the close of the school year.  Tuition payments to be paid by parents or guardians will be paid by the semester and will be due and payable prior to the opening of each semester.  Any alternate method of payment must be approved by the Board.
